Instructor: Dennis Adamek, Norsk Elektro Optikk AS
Tutorial description: In this session, we will go through all the processing steps needed to turn raw HySpex hyperspectral airborne images into orthorectified at-surface reflectance data. We will be demonstrating the processing workflow on a data set that we recorded during a recent UAV demo in a copper skarn mine in Tucson, Arizona. Following this, we will further show how to extract mineral information by processing the reflectance data to standard mineral indicator maps. During the tutorial, we will look also into key aspects of hyperspectral data quality and typical setups of hyperspectral airborne and UAV systems. The data will be made available for everybody joining the session and can be used freely.
