All Workshop participants are cordially invited for Ice Breaker at beautiful premises of Brno Observatory and Planetarium (Kraví hora 522/2)at the end of the first Workshop day on Wednesday, 6 February 2019 (18:30 – 21:00). Bus transportation from the Workshop venue will be arranged, departure at 17:30 from the Masaryk University Campus.
If the weather allows, we will be able to observe the starry sky above Brno and for those, who will be interested to learn more about Brno and the South-Moravia region there will be a movie show „Morava360“ starting at 20:15 in the digital planetarium.
If you wish to arrive at the Observatory and Planetarium individually, please, note that there is a traffic diversion, therefore you shall take bus X4 either at bus/tram stop Komenského náměstí (opposite the “red church”) or tram/trolley stop Údolní/Úvoz (trolley 25, 26).
No transportation will be provided on the way back, you can take bus X4 to the city centre.
All Workshop participants are cordially invited for the Workshop Dinner that will take place at Starobrno Brewery (Mendlovo náměstí 158/20) on Thursday, 7 February 2019 (19:00 – 23:59). The restaurant will be opened from 19:00 and the Dinner starts at 19:30
Please, arrive to the restaurant at the Mendel square individually. Mendel square is one of the main public transport hubs, well connected by trolley bus 25 (from the Workshop venue) and trams 1, 5 and 6.
In case you forgot to register for the Dinner, don’t worry, you can purchase a Dinner ticket (55€) at the Workshop registration desk.

Practical information: Both guided tours are organised at the same time, right before the Workshop Dinner (18:30 – 19:30) on Thursday, 7 February 2019. Both tours are located near the Workshop Dinner place at the Mendel square and they will finish on time that you wont miss the Dinner. Guided tours are organised in English and they are free of charge. Each tour is limited to 50 participants, everyone can register for a tour (first-comes, first-served) until Thursday, 7 February.
